COLLINS CONSTRUCTIONS ANNOUNCES NEW SPECIALISED DIVISION; COLLINS CONCRETING

You’ve probably heard the expression it’s like watching paint dry, well at Collins Constructions we really like watching concrete dry. That is why we have recently announced our exciting new specialised concreting division. Collins Concreting is out to change the way that concreting is done.

Director Pelham Collins saw a gap in the market and in alignment with his own service-based branding, wanted to create a niche offering.

“I found that there was a need and demand in my own business and in Far North Queensland for a concentrated concreting division which allows us to offer specialised commercial and residential concreting throughout the region” – Pelham.

Collins Concreting will adopt Collins Constructions high level of customer service and delivery of a fine product. As always, the paramount focus will be on-site safety and quality. Cleanliness and respect for surroundings in commercial and residential environments is also important to the company.

CAIRNS; APPRECIATING THE OLD AND EMBRACING THE NEW.

At Collins Constructions we see Cairns for all that it is worth, the beauty in the contrast of the old and new which exists in our (not so small) town. From heritage-listed relics dating back to the 1900s like the Boland’s Centre in the city to Cairns’ most recent modern establishment, the Bailey.

We work with all of these beautiful buildings, understanding the differences in which time and technology have changed structures and techniques. After all, things were done slightly differently over a century ago.

Recently CCFNQ had the pleasure to work with the Bolands’ centre undertaking restorative works in order to maintain the building’s persona and integrity. Working within the bones of a building built over a century ago was certainly a contrast to the modern and innovative office spaces which we often create.

CCFNQ’S TOP TIPS ON HOW TO CREATE A HIGHLY PRODUCTIVE OFFICE ENVIRONMENT

Productive workspaces produce healthier, happier staff, which leads to better results for your business.

1 – Do your research

Do you want to be a cut above the rest and ensure that your design has a modern edge + longevity? Research trending office fit-outs on platforms like Pinterest and Instagram, or even better, take a field trip to one of Australia’s major cities to gain office inspiration. CCFNQ is happy to work with your innovative ideas.

2 – Think outside the box

When it comes to your new commercial office space think modern, new age, and technically advanced. A few instalments which CCFNQ have recently completed include stand up desks, which provide an ergonomically friendly option for employees. Quiet rooms or brainstorming pods are an excellent way for an employee to remove from the social aspect of the workplace and knuckle down, or even take 15 to meditate for improved productivity.
